Celebration Covenant Church truly is "the most creative place in the universe."
The church, located on Teel Parkway in Frisco, is breaking groun in August for a new auditorium which will seat 4,2000 people as well as a new youth facility and a state-of-the-art Bessie G. Ferguson memorial chapel, in honor of Pastor Keith Craft's "Ma Maw."
The philosopy behind Celebration Covenant Church is to be high tech and high touch.
"We will continue to use cutting-edge technology and media to creatively present the gospel and good new of Jesus Christ," Craft said.
The auditorium will be built theatre style with 3D video compatibilities and stadium seating, as well as multi-media and high-tech sound systems.
The Bessie G. Ferguson Memeorial Chapel is also a special addition to the church, especially for Keith as it will be erected in honor of his late grandmother who prayed him back to life when he was only a child.
"I was involved in a drowning accident and was pronounced dead at the scene. My Ma Maw prayed for my survival and it worked. Part of the reason we weanted to have a memorial chapel in her honor was not only in memory of her, but to give other people an opportunity to memorialize people who have made a difference or impact in their life, " said Craft.
The chapel will have a more traditional church feel than the multi-media auditorium. A "Seat of Honor" as well as "Altar of Honor" and "Wall of Honor" will be available for members of the community to utilize by having names of those they wish to remember etched on them.
"The Wall of Honor will be illuminated making it absolutely beautiful and more special," Craft said.
The chapel itself will seat about 350 people, but will also have multi-media aspects from screens and projectors to sound.
The brand new youth area is unlike anything Frisco or any other church has seen before.
"The people who helped design Disney are the ones that designed
our kid's area," said Craft.
The building alone is 123,800 square-feet, the bookstore is 3,000 square-feet, the coffee shop is 700 quare-feet, and the children's area alone is over 50,000 square-feet.
"It's a pretty significant part of our mission," Craft said.
Celebration Covenant Church is a core values-based church. Their main mission is to teach people to find out what matters most and live a life that most matters. Every church has the same mission, and that is to preach the good news of Jesus Christ and make disciples, but the vision of a church is what makes the church unique.
"The vision of a chruch is its fingerprint. We believe that every individual has a fingerprint that nobody else has, to leave an imprint that nobody else can leave but them. The fingerprint of Celebration Covenant Church (vision) is to establish a love based leadership culture |

where people of all ages, ethnicities and backgrounds can be developed to become Christ followers are deployed into leadership in all walks of life with a biblical world view," Craft said.
