Celebration Covenant Church unveils Phase II of its expansion

Frisco, TX -- On Saturday, April 29, Keith Craft, Founder and Lead Pastor of Celebration Covenant Church announced plans for the construction of a brand new 88,000 square foot facility on its sprawling 27 acre campus in northwest Frisco. The ultramodern worship complex, which is being designed to creatively present the gospel of Jesus Christ to Frisco’s burgeoning population, will house a 3000 seat auditorium (expandable to 5000)complete with theater seating, high definition multimedia, intelligent lighting and cutting edge digital surround sound audio technology.

The atrium, which Pastor Keith admits will be the facility’s “architectural centerpiece”, will feature cascading waterfalls and fountains leading into the elegantly appointed, dome shaped chapel/amphitheater. It will seat 350.

An 8500 square foot nursery, a Music Production Suite with practice rooms, and a 3000 square foot bookstore with adjoining coffee shop and lounge will also be key attractions when the new facility is completed by winter 2008.

The church’s current facility will be converted into a state of the art student ministries center, complete with arcade games, indoor basketball, table tennis and foosball.

Pastor Keith, who also travels extensively as a corporate coach and leadership strategist, has always been passionate about communicating the gospel of Jesus Christ through the three-stranded cord of culturally relevant teaching from the Word of God, engaging and authentic worship, and creative multi-media presentations. And Phase II – affectionately dubbed “The Mothership” – is no exception.

It’s been only six years since Celebration first opened its doors and average attendance has already quadrupled to approximately 2000 faithful worshipers on the weekend. Now Pastor Keith and the congregation of CCC are preparing for the future.

According to recent estimates released by the City of Frisco the population boom in the city has already exceeded projections for 2006 in the first quarter alone.

Pastor Keith, along with his wife and co-pastor Sheila Craft, believe that expanding the church’s current facilities will allow CCC to “…build God’s dream” by meeting the growing spiritual, emotional and physical needs of families in Frisco and neighboring communities; a challenge the Crafts and the congregation of Celebration Covenant Church wholeheartedly embrace.
